US Ambassador Jeff Hovenier has reacted after the attack on Zubin Potok's water channel, which allegedly erupted Thursday evening.
Horvenier in a writing on the social network “X”, has said the US strongly condemn this attack and have offered support to the country's government.
The United States strongly condemns the November 29th attack on Kosovo's critical infrastructure by damaging a water channel in Zubin Potok, which is essential to Kosovo's water supply and the functioning of Kosovo thermal power plants. We are monitoring the situation closely, supporting a comprehensive investigation and offering our full support to the Government of Kosovo to ensure that the individuals responsible for this criminal attack are identified and held accountable.” he said.
On the other hand, Havenier wrote:
“We also condemn the latest grenade attacks at the Zvecan police station on November 26th and at the Zvecan municipality building on November 28th. These violent acts have no place in a democratic society and those responsible for these criminal attacks against the legitimate authorities of the Republic. Kosovo must take responsibility.
The United States will continue to solidify with the people and the Government of Kosovo in the face of such criminal attacks”.
