Chadaku Witness Speaks of Four Indictees and Other KLA Members

For Jakup Krasniqi, the witness said he was spokesman for The NLA and this one had been understood through media, reports “The Law Trust for Justice“.

“According to my knowledge, by June 1998, Krasniqi has been the spokesman for KLA. I think there was a publication in the media, or through the newspaper or TV that Jakup Kranqi has been selected as the spokesperson for KLA. I don't remember the exact date. I don't even remember the exact way I remember the”, Chadraku said.

He said Sokol Bashata had not known during the war and that after that he understood that he was part of the General Staff.

I didn't know Sokol Bashata during the war. What I heard after the war was that it was an integral part of the KLA's General Staff, that's what I'm saying not from my knowledge during the war with my friends, but I learned after the war”, Chadraku said.

Also, the witness was asked whether he knew what Sokol Basota used during wartime.

I am now aware that he seems to have had the nickname eleven (11)x1>, the witness answered.

The witness stressed that during the crossings to Albania, he could meet Thaci, but has not recognised his post within the KLA at the time.

I may have met Thaci without knowing and knowing who he is and what he is inside KLA”, he added.

He also explained the way he had met Thaci, showing that on this joint trip he had hurt his leg.

“Yes, I think I've met you with an insert of a trip that was May 30th 1998, the date this one in Kosovo has entered seven professional superiors of the former Yugoslav Army. I remember that on that trip, one of my fellow fighters needed help because he killed his leg and helped him by taking those weapons off his arm and later, I don't know when, I realized it was Hashim Thaci. And I showed you on that journey that Adam and Grabov [as well]. I also knew him from the 1990s. It was me that Kadri Wessel and these, but that's that person Hashim Thaci, I learned later”, Chadraku said.

The Witness had also said that “the” he later learned about was Rexhep Selimi told him to go to Rahovec to meet Mensur Zymber, who was known as 500.

He added that he did not know if Mensur Zyber knew Thaci at the time, since neither of them knew them.

However, the witness said that these two persons were spoken to have been known for being together in studies.

I think it's the same thing as Hashim Thaci, as with Kadri Veselin in relation to Mensur Zymber. I think they've been in a generation and organization has gone on the basis of credibility and that lets me know that they've trusted Mensur based on the knowledge they had”, Chadraku said.

The witness said Rexhep Selimi had met him on two more occasions, entering from Albania.

I think I've met Rexhep Selim on a couple of occasions by entering from Albania. I told you that Kosovo- I've traveled over 35-6 times in the orientation of armed groups, and I remember once it was June or July and we've left Albania, respectively, from Dobruna with a very large group but I remember that Rexhepi was also Ghafi-Plaki, who was tired and needed a stop during the trip. Yes, I remember that we have met even during the Albania-Kosovo roads, one or two or more cases”, Chadraku said.
