Witness Halil Chadaku said on Tuesday in The Hague that during his entire activity in the Intelligence-Convention Sector (ZKZ), he has never received any orders from Kadri Wessel.
The witness said this had not happened to other members of the General Staff, as he said if it were to happen, he would be proud, reports “The Justice Vow “.
Never during my entire activity from January 8th until I left this post on April 20, 2000, I have never followed any orders from Kadri Wessel or any order from the relevant General Staff sector. I would be very proud in my documents if I had any orders or duties from them, but I never had anything like that. I've always acted with those opinions of me what I understood and which way is best”, he said.
Prior to that, Chadack said he had never seen Kadri Veseli since November 1998 until March of 99.
“from November 16th through March, I don't remember and I haven't seen Kadri Veselin”, Chadaku said, adding that there was no contact with him.
I've always tried to propose, inform my commander, and through the commander, they in the General Staff what's happening in the Pacific Operative Zone. All of them were initiativeed, all of them were my opinion, all of it was my opinion about how to act, working in certain situations for protection”, Chadack said.
He added that his reporting line has gone through the structure of the Zone, namely the commander, and has never taken a direct route to report to General Staff.
I know I've never reported directly to the General Staff about these” things, Chadaku said.
