The candidate for Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos's hearing from Slovenia will be held November 7th before the EP's Foreign Affairs Commission, while on November 12th it will be Kaya Kallas, who was appointed EU High Representative for Foreign Policy and Security, who will be heard before the same commission.
Each candidate's hearing will last three hours and initially they will have opening speeches of 15 minutes, after which MPs will ask questions, the European Parliament reports.
Each hearing will be followed by a meeting where commission heads and representatives of groups (coordinators) will assess the work of candidates who have just heard.
After completing the evaluation process, the Committee Speakers' Conference will assess the outcome of all hearing sessions and will submit its recommendation to the Chairmans' Conference. /Express/
