Democratic Party of Kosovo Vice-President (PDK), Mimoza Ahmetaj, has addressed criticism of Kurti's government for the way grants are managed.
In Debat Plus, Ahmetaj stressed that the current government is dividing grants for relatives and cousins, while hundreds of millions of euros in grants from the European Union have been blocked due to measures imposed on Kosovo.
“Give us grants from the Kosovo budget, while over 300m euros in EU grants, Kosovo has been blocked for the cause and for the benefits and results achieved by the same government. Instead of taking all those grants to function for the good of the country. We stand under sanctions and over 300m euros remain on hold for more and have the Development Fund, which has been split to all Western Balkan states and Kosovo for the fact that it is under sanctions has also been suspended by these “grants, it has declared.
For grants cousins from the budget while losing all Europe's grants to Kosovo citizen”, Ahmetaj has said.
