Political analyst Visar Ymer says a significant part of the increase in electoral power came from co-operation with President Vjosa Osmani, who no longer exists.
Ymer says the way the president Osmani has left the LDK has been less than favourable for the LDK, where it adds that the largest voter hit during 2021 happened to the Democratic League of Kosovo.
I think that a significant part of Kurt's election power has come from co-operation with President Osmani, co-operation that no longer exists, cannot practically be organised as in 2021 since Osman is president and has no right to engage in daily politics and much less in that electoral policy, due to the crying that is becoming every most visible in public between M. Osman and Kurti. I don't know if the LDK was ready for that, because the way Osman left the LDK has been not so much favourable for the LDK and not too much of the opportunity the LDK had created for it. The biggest blow in 2021 if we talk about number of votes happened to LDK”, he said.
On the other hand, he emphasises that Osman is also interested in a mandate as president, but it is not known whether there are political parties in Kosovo that would secure another mandate, as according to him, the Vetvendosje Movement is no longer interested in Osman as a president.
“Osman would have wanted another mandate to continue for president, and now if there are political parties in Kosovo that would secure a mandate I don't know, LVV is no longer interintermediate for Osman to continue as president, and then remains to be seen by other parties. Of the other parties is not that there is any positive opinion of Mrs. Osmani except for the designated people of LDK”, Ymer for Blic newspaper concluded.
