We're proud to support you. Let us continue to work together step by step for Kosovo's European future”, Von der Leyeen has said.
The same met today with President Vjosa Osmani, with whom he held a press conference.
Von der Leyen is staying in the Western Balkans from 23 October, first she visited Albania, where Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama met, and delivered a speech at the inauguration ceremony of the European College campus in Tirana.
Later on 24 October, she met with President Bajram Begaj, after that she went to northern Macedonia and met with Prime Minister Hristian Mickoski and President Gordana Silanovska-David.
On October 25th, it was Serbia and held a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, rather than Serbia's prime minister, Milos Vuchev, after he met with Russia's Minister for Economic Development, Maxim Resethnicov.
The same day on October 26th after Kosovo, Von der Leyen will be in Montenegro and will be hosted by Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic and Prime Minister Milojko Spajic.
