PDK Parliamentary Group chief Abelard Tahiri has directed sharp criticism of the Kurti government for the situation in KEK.
In the parliamentary debate, discussing scandals in this company, he has said people of the ruling party have misused the company's money.
In his address, Tahiri has said KEK has been managed by people of power for nearly five years.
“We have entered the 5th year where the Kosovo Energy Corporation is managed by people delegated by the VV. So if we look at the total budget that has been spent for these years it exceeds about 600 million euros, which we actually don't know exactly who they're managed from. Have they been managed by the Board, managed by the director, managed by Dejona, managed by Nagip or managed by Martini?”, Tahiri said.
He has also told about the single-source contracts of this company.
“E have calculated that there are about 105m euros in single-source contracts. For two years, we're only talking about 2022 and 2023, not 2020, 2021 or 2024”, he said.
According to him, energy has been expensive during this time.
“Being the Energy Corporation in the direction of the VV has been expensive costing 100 percent of the electricity, without what we have documented in this assembly that our internal needs are covered almost 90 for the internal source of electricity.”, Tahiri said.
