Two Swedish teenagers were detained on Thursday in connection with the pre-day bombings near the Israeli Embassy in Copenhagen the previous day.
Prosecutors have said they are investigating “if the motive of the explosions could be terrorist attack”.
No one was hurt by Wednesday's morning bombings in a neighborhood where several diplomatic missions are located, although a Jewish school was closed after the explosions.
The duo, which cannot be identified in accordance with the court's order, will be held in custody for 27 days.
They face two initial charges, illegal weapons and the carrying of five hand grenades.
Two of the grenades erupted when the suspects threw them into a house near the Embassy, prosecutor Soren Harbo said.
“[ The blasts occurred very much near the Israeli Embassy”, Harbo said.
The blasts caused damage on the roof of a nearby house. The Israeli Embassy was not damaged.
Thursday's hearing against the two suspects was held on closed doors after initial charges were hurt. Reporting from the trial chamber, Danish broadcaster DR said teenagers, aged 16 and 19, allegedly acted “in co-operation and along with one or more people with preliminary deals”.
Suspects have denied the charges, according to local media.
They were arrested on Wednesday shortly before noon on a train at the Copenhagen central station. REL
