The Pristina court has assigned 30 days of detention to MMPHI official Naser Hafizi, who was arrested at Pristina Airport. Following the Kosovo Special Prosecution and Police action at the Ministry of Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Environment, numerous irregularities were discovered at the ministry, which is led by Librin Aliu, writes Periscope.
Periscop has managed to secure the special prosecutor's proposal that Hafizi stay in custody for a month.
Hafizi, suspected of involvement in the debt pardon for water management companies.
He was not found Tuesday at his workplace when Kosovo Police conducted a raid on the Ministry of Environment, nor at his home, and arrest warrants were issued.
Hafizi has been arrested but has just landed at Pristina Airport.
Hafizi is suspected of using official task or authority “for payment of debts for water management companies.
