Smaqi: We have a very primitive political class in power, at the top of Albin Kurt.

Dejona Mihali and Ridvan Muharremi are the names that circulated the last few days in the media. Both names related to the Kurti Government have a joint interview by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor for scandals that sparked major reactions in the country, writes Periscope. Regarding these developments, Periscopi has contacted lawyer Xhevdet Smakqi, who said that, for the good luck of Kosovo, even though the prosecutor and her chief prosecutor, Blerim Isufaj has been attacked several times by power, even directly by Prime Minister Kurti, has preserved her integrity and independence.
“ ...that's why since the PSRK's entire prosecutorial and judicial system has been built up and advanced with the help of friendly states like America the EU, including training we should be grateful for this state-run pillar of justice that protects public interest and the lives of citizens, such as the SPRK. So P SRK for Kosovo's good fortune even though its Chief Prosecutor. Blerim Isufaj has been directly attacked and in the most brutal form on the part of Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the Kosovo Assembly and his ministers with the motive to protect their militants in executive positions, such as Martin Berisha's Nagip Krasniqi, to date has maintained its integrity and independence should be welcomed by each citizen and politicians...” - Smakqi said.
Smakqi stressed for Periscope that unfortunately Kosovo is led by a primitive political class at the helm with Albin Kurti, who, instead of asking for his own investigation by the prosecution to dismiss suspects from political positions, has chosen to attack PSRKA.
“ ...but unfortunately, we have a political class in power that has led to the primitive, irresponsible behaviour of Albin Kurti, where instead of seeking his own investigation by the SPRK, to dismiss suspects from political and executive positions, he has chosen to attack. P The SRK judicial system violates the 46th Kosovo Criminal Procedure Code. ”- He said.
According to lawyer Smakqi, even though in principle the government and its ministers would have to commend the Special Prosecutor for her work, without giving recognitions and comments on the work of the divided power such as the judiciary.
“ ...the fundamental principle in a Democratic Parliamentary Republic where power with the Constitutions are divided is for the Executive and Legislative not to mix with any action or statements in the affairs of justice. So since the entire PPC and judicial system has been built to consolidate and advance with the help of friendly states like America, the EU, including training, should be grateful for this state-run pillar of justice that protects public interest and citizens' lives, such as the SPRK. Although in principle each criminal suspect is considered innocent until the formal form act, the political and legal responsibility remains that the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo and his ministers and the deputees should congratulate, support the work of justice bodies without comment on assessing the work of divided power such as the judiciary...”- he said about Periscope.
We remember that on September 20th, Dejona Mihali was interviewed by the Prosecutor for Co-operation with KEK's former executive chief, Nagip Krasniqi, accused of corruption. Periscope had reported that the prosecution has managed to uncover Dejona Mihali's images even with Ambassador Martin Berishaaj, and is also suspected of being involved in the Faruk Mujka scandal, the current Mitrovica Waterwork chief, who was arrested last year under suspicion of corruption.
Until last week, Prime Minister Kurti's close friend, businessman Ridvan Muharremi, was interviewed in connection with the state reserve scandal for which he was arrested last year. /PERISCOP
