Last night it was reported burning administration servers in the Podujevo municipality.
This concern was raised by civil society activist Shemsi Jashar.
But local power there denies that such a case occurred, originally through spokesman Fatri Dzitia and then even through a broader reaction, has clarified the situation.
The response is said to never affect the personal data of citizens.
The fact is that following last week's power outage on Thursday morning, some excesses have suffered defects, which are technical and manageable. So the basic infrastructure is intact and function properly and that the defects created are repairable. We also announce that the prosperity of administrative work in the Podujevo municipality is normally developing”, the announcement said.
As a result of the municipality's response, even after the defects in these excesses, the data has not been lost, as they are stored in officials' computers, in software such as intranet, official website, finance programmes and data are being returned to the system by IT officials.
However, it is not about citizen data, as they are stored in the Civil Record Agency (ARC) at the central level. This is a guarantee that, despite unexpected events, the municipality is able to provide stable and reliable services to our citizens”.
Such news that the Communist server has been burned, except they're false, they're also biased, malicious, and intended to create panic and confusion in citizens. We assure citizens that their data is safe and should not be concerned about it at all.
