Democratic League of Kosovo MP Driton Selmanaj has raised concerns that soldiers do not have enough income. According to him, the same ones are being forced to work after hours as taxis and waitresses.
So he said at the extraordinary hearing where he is discussing the food issue in the Kosovo Security Force.
“I have long seen the streets of Kosovo, our soldiers with auto stop waiting to be taken away. I've been watching and talking for a long time, there are KSF soldiers working taxis after work. There are soldiers of our army working after work waitresses. This is a serious problem. That's how we come with the dignity of our soldier that we force him to work after hours and get puffed up to say we have professional armies. No, no, this is not the professional army”, Selmanaj said.
The extraordinary session on the food issue at the KSF has been invited at the Alliance's request for the Future of Kosovo.
