He has distributed Ambassador Hovenier's post on the X platform, with what he wrote that Caidanow was an extraordinary “diplomatre” and that he has guided some of the most challenging “issues during her work.
“Ambassador Tina Caidanow was an extraordinary diplomat who led to some of the most challenging foreign policy issues of her day. She was an outstanding colleague and friend, deeply clever, with a sense of humor, persistence, and devotion to American diplomacy. Blessed be the memory of him”, Blinken wrote.
