Kosovo Customs has picked up smart phones, laptops and Rolex during a strict search Sunday at Pristina Airport.
Through a issued communiqué, Dogan announced the discovery of several specific <x0 cases of attempts to avoid declaring goods worth”.
“During yesterday, customs officials seized 11 smart phones of different undeclared brands, worth a total of 12,950.94. Also, on the same date, an undeclared laptop offense was initiated, worth 1.558. Also this morning, during the search of luggage in the green canal area, customs grabs two hours of the Rolex brand's hand mark, each of which has been declared $10,450, for a total value of 20,900. The discovery was made by applying the local principles of travel selection”, the Customs report said.
The seized goods amount to 30,000 euros.
All goods I have submitted to the investigation until the completion of customs procedures, as well as the involved patrols have been fined in accordance with the Customs Code. The value of discovered goods totals over 300,000 euros”, the announcement said.
