Commenting on the salary increase, she told him that the 55-euro increase is almost unsavory for all civil servants due to the high value of inflation over the past few years.

“Initially, every distribution of public money at the time the elections were announced, and now when they're very close to the start of the campaign officially, we see it as a scheme of public corruption because it is simply being made for vote purchase or electoral support”.

We know that in 2021 there was 11.6 percent inflation inflation inflation, while the basic consumer basket has increased by 50 percent and no salary movement has taken place”.

The 55-euro salary increase as the Government's decision, which certainly will come through the Budget Law, is almost an invaluable increase for all civil servants because we have had great inflation during these past years”, Bajrami said.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said on Tuesday that the value of a cofficiency remains 110 euros, but the amount of cofficients for one entity increases, starting in January of next year for 0.5 units, that is, half a unit, and then by July of next year, for another 0.5 units.

In other words, someone with a 5.6 cofficiency is 6.1 in January, and in July the cofficiency is 6.6. Like someone with a 10.5 cofficient, it's 11.0 in January, and by July it gets 11.5. Expressed at monetary value, all employees in the public sector, salaries for them will rise to 55 euros starting in January, and 110 euros from July 2025”. /eo
