It has been reported that after the brutal attack on Rakiqi, MP Igor Sibiu sent him to hospital

On Saturday after midnight, former head of the Serbian List and currently deputy in Serbia's Parliament, Goran Rakic, has been brutally attacked by some unidentified persons prior to his entrance to northern Mitrovica.

The attackers are suspected to be members of “Civilna Zastita-s” and to have been waiting for Rakiq outside his apartment.

The KKP learns that after the attack, MP Igor Sinheri has intervened and sent Rakinjak to the hospital, staying close to him almost all the time that former head of the Serbian “List” was in medical care.

Meanwhile, it is reported that two police investigators have visited Rakiqi in his apartment and have asked him to return to the hospital to co-operate in investigations concerning the case, requests he has rejected.

Telegrafi has contacted the deputy director of the Kosovo Police in the north, Veton Elshani, and the same one has indicated that I cannot confirm such a thing.

“cannot confirm such a thing, at least we have no complaints”, Elshani said.

Investigations into the case are still under way.
