Kosovo police have appealed to citizens to be careful in terms of fog weather.
Through a media report, the Ferizaj region is said to have started showing/pression of fog in some countries where geographic location is lower.
“Use the fog lights. If your vehicle has these lights, it helps to lighten the road in front of you, and these lights make your vehicle more visible to other drivers. Some vehicles also have the rear lights of the mist, which help drivers moving back to see you from a larger distance of”, says the police appeal.
Full announcement:
In the Ferizaj region, the appearance/pression of fog has begun in some countries where geographic location is lower.
We prefer driving drivers to watch their way through fog weather.
And we recommend that:
Remember, driving in the mist can be dangerous!
Keep an eye on the unexpected change of visibility, and the denser mist may be closer to rivers.
Use the fog lights. If your vehicle has these lights, it helps to lighten the road in front of you, and these lights make your vehicle more visible to other drivers. Some vehicles also have background lights that help drivers who move back to see you from even a larger distance.
The fog can create an optical illusion and make drivers think they're going slower than they are. Keep your attention, don't hurry!
Turn on the lights while driving, but don't turn on long - range lights!
The long light drive can reflect outside the mist and turn into your vehicle, which also makes it impossible for other drivers to see you.
Keep light on short lights and fog!
Control your speed!
Keep the right arm of the road moving!
