From the Kosovo Police Inspectorate in a response to Paparaci have announced that the police official was out of office.
Kosovo Police Inspectorate “investigators have been notified by Kosovo Police last night, respectively, the Directorate for Investigation into narcotics trafficking for a case allegedly involved by a police official. Once the IPK investigators received information, they came to the scene where other police units were present.
Investigations into the case had been launched earlier by investigators from the Directorate for Investigation into Kosovo Police narcotics Trafficking. In this case three suspects have been arrested, including a police official (out of official duty)”.
As the IPK reports, the now arrested police official has been assigned a 48-hour ban on suspicion that the same one committed a non-authorised narcotics possession, psychotrope or analogisation”.
As part of the administration procedures, it has been suspended at IPK's recommendation.
“IPK investigators in co-ordination with the State Prosecutor and other police units will continue to undertake many other investigative actions towards lighting the circumstances of this case”, it is said further.
