Police arrest Prizren municipality official for misuse of official office

Kosovo police have announced that they have arrested a construction Inspectorate official in the Prizren municipality.

According to the communiqué, he allegedly misused the official task in connection with the construction of a complex in the village of Landovica- Prizren.

“After the company's investigative actions, evidence has been provided that the owner of the facility owns construction permits for a project, while after the start of the works the same construction has declined. The random evidence has provided reasonable doubt that the responsible construction inspector has not undertaken proper legal action, allowing the owner to modify the object, and has also failed to execute the outcome of the collapse by taking only partially debacle”, the communiqué says.
