Osman meets with Havenier, discuss recent developments in the country

President Vjosa Osmani has met with the ambassador of the United States of America to Kosovo, Jeffrey Havenier, with whom she has discussed recent developments in the country.

Among other things at the meeting are discussing opportunities for co-operation in various areas.

“Starting with President Osmani's recent visit to the US, the possibilities for co-operation in areas of common interest -- including security issues, economic development, American investment and further development of the digital ecosystem in Kosovo” -- are said at the Kosovo Presidency's announcement.

Meanwhile, President Vjosa Osmani also hosted the EU ambassador to Kosovo, Aivo Ora.

On the eve of European Commission President Ursula Von der Leenen's visit, President Osmani and Ambassador Orav discussed the importance of this visit.

After adopting Kosovo's reform agenda on the part of the European Commission, President Osmani praised that this would help Kosovo in socioeconomic development and development further in line with EU values and goals. A series of topics related to Kosovo's European road” were also discussed at the meeting, the Presidency reports on the occasion.
