Kosovo police, through the Narcotics Trafficking Investigation Directorate, have conducted a successful operation called “007”. On October 21st, 2024, on the Kosovo-Pristina Magic Road, police stopped a car suspected of trafficking narcotics.
During the search on the car run by Kosovo citizen Mr. J., 10kg of cocaine, worth of 450,000 euros, were found. After the ban, in co-ordination with the prosecution, a raid was conducted at the suspect's home in Gracanica, where it was confiscated:
- 10.224kg of cocaine
- A local license car
- 1,445 euros and 8,970 Serb dinars
- Two cell phones
- 17 Graphical folders to produce cryptovatulles
Suspect has been arrested and detained for 48 hours. The case has been initiated for the criminal work of “acquisition, possession, distribution and unauthorized selling of narcotics. ”
