Through a media communique, police have said that on November 1st they will not issue evidence of the criminal past.

Kosovo's “Police, through this official communiqué, report to the media and citizens that starting on the date 01.11.2024, will not issue for the demanding/citire parties confirmation of the criminal past. Cutting off confirmations refers to Law No. 08/L-194 on the Central Criminal Evidence System, which abolishes any other legal provision that stipulates the release or release of certificates that connect with criminal evidence. The Department of Central Criminal Evidence to the Kosovo Judiciary Council remains responsible for releasing these claims, so the demanding/citizen parties can apply to courts covering their territory. ”
