Netanyah, Trumpit: Israel Makes Decisions on National Interest

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has held a telephone conversation with former US President Donald Trump, the prime minister's office said on Sunday.

“Prime Minister Netanyah reiterated what he said publicly: Israel takes into account the issues the American administration raises, but will eventually make its decisions based on its national interests”, the statement said.

Trump, later speaking to reporters in Philadelphia, said there had been a very good <x0 call” with Netanyah on Saturday.

According to him, the Israelite leader had asked his opinion about what to do with Iran.

He was asking me what I thought. And I just said, you do what you have to do”, Trump said.
