Murder, physical and psychic abuse: Charges Against Two War Crimesmen

The Special Prosecutor of the Republic of Kosovo has filed charges at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, the Special Department, against the S.S. and M.S. defendants.

According to the indictment for defendants, there is a well - founded doubt that in 1998 period of 1999, deliberately and jointly committed acts of crime: murder, physical and psychic abuse, plundering the violent wealth of the civilian population.

As the prosecution reports, in this co-ordination, they committed criminal acts, the crime of war against the civilian population, sanctioned by Article 142, concerning Article 22 of the Criminal Law of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia (now “) LP-RSFJ”, as a law in effect at the time of the criminal offence.
