The rule of law in Kosovo over the past three years has not been merely an empty word. On the contrary, there have been serious efforts and results which have been confirmed by all international organisations, which assess the fight against corruption, rule of law, democratic standards, freedom of thought, human rights, minority rights, all testify that Kosovo has done excellent work”, she has said.
Gervala said Kosovo wants a Balkans where democracy and rule of law rules.
In Transparency International alone, we have advanced by more than 20 countries within 3 years. This means there is a development that is unusual for all of those Balkan critics who have long said you cannot improvise European standards in the Balkans. We are evidence that this is not true. We want a Balkans where democracy and rule of law” are ruled, Gervala said.
