So has the executive director of the Association of Kosovo municipalities, Saman Ibrahimi, made it known to Periscope, where he said this was due to the government's collective contract and unwillingness to solve this problem.
The mayor himself has reacted to this decision This municipality, Bali Muharmaj.
He has asked the Parliament to act urgently, as he says it will aggravate the situation.
“Today we are officially notified by central-level institutions that have blocked access to all financial officials for us as the Suhareka municipality, until court/final decisions are prosecuted.
This impasse has occurred as a result of the collective contract. This situation, as warned by the Communist Association, will continue in other municipalities if no immediate measures are taken as a result of collective contract.
We have financial obligations for the projects we have planned, and should not be held hostage to an agreement that the Government of Kosovo must implement, and where the consequences are already being carried by us as municipalities.
For this situation, the Parliament of the Republic of Kosovo must act urgently as well, because the difficult financial situation will become even heavier”, he wrote.
While Periscop has secured the email that the Suhareka municipality accepted from the Government for blocking accounts.

And it has denied Minister Iron Murati.
He has said the accounts are not blocked by the government, but by officials and severed court decisions.
“Dezinforms do not pass! Whoever claims government blocks municipal accounts is lying. The government doesn't block accounts, much less municipalities. Calculations are blocked by magistrates and severed court decisions”, Murati said.
