The object of this action has been women or groups who are developing prostitution activities in Kosovo.
Courts under anonymity have said that 20 people have been cuffed. Of them, women from Colombia, Venezuela, Turkey and other states, reports Infocus newspaper from its sources.
According to the same sources, this police action has been conducted after a several-month survey and investigation of the Kosovo police for this largely conducted phenomenon in Kosovo last year.
We've handled all cases. Pre-lawd penalties for public order and tranquillity have been imposed, with penalties for prostitution activities as well. These sentences, as the law envisions, have been fined from 100 to 900 euros, as well as prescribed measures for their expulsion and stops from 3 to 5 years to enter Kosovo's territory”, the tribunal has said.
The same has shown that this is not the first case but is the biggest action in fighting this phenomenon.
Otherwise, in Kosovo, according to the Web site where these women (scorta) are displayed, there are over 400. Mostly from Latin American states and former Soviet Union states.
