Macedonia in Turkey: Turkish producers to be among state addresses for arms purchase

Defence Minister Ejup Macedonia has said that Turkish weapons systems producers have been and will be among the most frequent state addresses of arms purchases by the Republic of Kosovo.

Macedonia has made these comments during its official visit to Turkey, where it is said to have held several meetings with the heads of the Republic of Turkey's Defence Industry Agency, as well as with producers of military systems, some of whom have reportedly been provided with weapons systems and various military equipment.

“On these meetings he was recognised and informed of the latest innovations in the field of defence industry and air space protection. In this case, he stressed that Turkish weapons systems producers have been and will be among the most frequent state addresses of arms purchases by the Republic of Kosovo, because Kosovo and Turkey are strategic allies and partners, for protection and security, and for stability and peace”, the report said.
