Limaj: Kosovo needs opposition victory, Kurti has lost gold opportunity

Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has launched criticism in the direction of the Kosovo government, saying the latter have misgoverned and failed in any dictatorship for four years, says newspaper10.

“Doesn't prove the state or boys” was Limaj's saying at the beginning of the government's mandate Kurti.

Currently, Limaj at “Polito” has said that this government has proved to be right because, according to him, there have been stagnation and failures in every field.

 

 

“What has happened for four years, health is bad, bad education, prices are in the sky, I don't know if you know but 40% have increased prices since 2019. Limaj has also said that with this government there are no salary increases and no capital investments, while in particular mentioning the expensive electricity.

According to Limaj, Kosovo citizens pay the most expensive electricity in the region.

“We pay off electricity more than expensive in the region, it has multiplied, even the price has increased from the opinion. We have sonial growth, and on the other hand we have no salary increases, no capital investments”, Limaj said.

In addition, Limaj has spared no criticism of Prime Minister Kurti, but also MPs and ministers of the Vetevendosje Movement.

The chairman of the Initiative has said VV deputies have been professionally inexperienced, saying their first “work has been in state institutions”.

“90% of them have had their first job in state institutions. They didn't have any stories in their professional biographies. They didn't have any lawyers by name, any economist...”, he said.

And for Kurti's reports with the ministers, Limaj has also not been spared at all with criticism and stakes.

From Limaj's point of view, this government has spread a kind of arrogance over and over.

According to him, Kurti around him on this mandate did not have ministers, since he did not calculate them as such, but has seen them more as ministers.

“I have seen that Prime Minister Kurti has no ministers, but a group of people he has most seen as ministers and not as people who have a professional background”, Limaj said.

Meanwhile, the fiercest has been shown with his opinion about Vetevendosje Movement co-ordinator Dejona Mihalin, while commenting on her messages with former KEK chief chief Nagip Krasniqi.

He has said Dejona Mihali is leading the KEK company -- company that, Limaj said, should be independent.

“KEK is an independent public enterprise, you go from party offices and run employment, sale, acquisition, even to clear the current here at studio”, Limaj said.

In the course of criticism, there was no lack of debate between Limaj and political commentators.

While Limaj replied he would be in full co-ordination with international allies, while stressing that they would require recognition of Kosovo.
