Prime Minister Albin Kurti, together with Culture Minister Hajrullah Ceku, have been hosted at a meeting by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, following the completion of Berlin Process Summit works.
Kurti, as the government communiqué reports, has asked Scholzi for support in removing measures imposed on Kosovo by the EU and addressing the issue of Serbia's airspace.
“S jointly discussed bilateral relations and areas in which Germany can support Kosovo. From him and Germany Prime Minister Kurti sought to support the departure of EU measures, which has already been requested by EU High Representative Josep Borrell himself. The prime minister also asked Chancellor Scholz for support in addressing the issue of Serbia's airspace, which remains closed for commercial flights towards and from Kosovo 25 years now, thus causing both air and environmental pollution companies as financial damage due to the extension of flights to and from Kosovo”, the communiques reported.
As far as reports with Serbia and the process of dialogue facilitated by Brussels, the prime minister said the signing of the Basic Agreement, the handover of chief terrorist Milan Radojiciqi, but also of his group, for which there is already an indictment by the state prosecution, and the withdrawal of Serbia's letter in which the reserves are expressed for the Basic Agreement are fundamental and evidence of Serbia's goodwill for the swift fulfillment and full respect of the Agreement and the Anex of implementation.
