Private Master Blocks Kosovo Telecom Accounts Again in Z-Mobile Case

Following rejection of the Undesigned Order that relates to arbitration in the “Dardafo 2” ( Z-Mobile's side of the Commercial Court yesterday, on the date 03.10.24, the Private Master, to accept this act within just one hour, has blocked all of Kosovo Telecom's bank accounts.

This blocking of the Kosovo Telekom bank accounts by the Private Master is based on completely unjust decisions, so Kosovo Telekom will continue to oppose these decisions, which are a consequence of a time and a mismanagement greatly influenced by the politics of the time and by powerful private interests.

As the public has already been informed, this case is the second largest consequence of an extremely harmful 2009 contract through which Kosovo Telekom, until now, except it has been financially damaged with over 100m euros, has been unjustly forced to pay more than 60m euros through court processes that had been devised through this contract. With this account deadlock, the Private Master is intended to draw from the Kosovo Telecom accounts, and for Z-Mobile's interest, even around 12m euros in key debt.

Even though Kosovo Telekom has made criminal speculation in the respective rule bodies, as well as in public, has denounced this contract regarding the many negative consequences it has produced and continues to produce, for the company of organised schemes for the benefits of certain interest groups, unfortunately to date none of the officials and persons involved in this criminal scheme has been accountable to the tribunal.

The Kosovo Telecom Management, from today along with the Board of Directors, will analyse and take all possible steps with the aim of quickly unlocking the bank accounts, and will take good care to continue the modernisation process of services, as well as all other labour and business processes, which are taking over our company slowly but safely, to the place it belongs to as the first provider of telecommunications services in our country.
