Mission NATO in Kosovo, KFOR has announced it has completed a 24-hour operation and said a Croatian platoon has conducted patrol activities and surveillance along the border with Serbia.
The 24-hour operation carried out by the Regional Command Cinema Battalion in the West of the NATO-led mission KFOR. A Croatian platoon conducted a series of patrol activities and surveillance along the administrative border line (ABL)”, KFOR said in a Facebook report.
KFOR reiterated that it continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 “to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo and freedom of movement at any time and impartially”.
KFOR is the third security reacter, behind the Kosovo Police and the EU Law Rule Mission (EULEX), with which it says they work in close co-ordination.
