Kosovo Judiciary Council ( The KDP, at the 335th meeting, has appointed the chairmanship of the Treaty for Freedom with Condition, Judge Marem Memaj, while the presiding reserve/place member, Judge Agim Maliqi, who have been delegated by the Supreme Court of Kosovo.
The mandate of members of the Council for Freedom with Kusht is two years, with no right to re-election, while the decision comes into force from October 31, 2024.
The KDP also proposed members for the Justice Academy Steering Council, for which leader Albert Zogaj demands responsibility in carrying out his duties.
Even Willard Bytyqi, KDP member, said all proposed candidates should perform the job with dignity.
For these colleagues whoever it is, I'm going to appreciate that these colleagues are representatives of the Academy of Justice and it's important that they have strong co-operation”, Bytyqi said, reports EO.
The draft memorandum of co-operation between the Kosovo Judiciary Council and the State Agency of Kosovo Archives was also approved at the meeting, EO reports.
Also voted for the establishment of the panel for examination of apps, interviewing, evaluation and recommendation of judges' candidates in the Second University Chambers of the Commercial Court.
