SBASAK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj has again reacted to the 110-euro salary increase by Albin Kurti's government.
In a statement tor <x0), he has said that they are disappointed because demand concerning the value of the cofficiency for at least 30 percent has been done for two months now.
From the first communication we've done with municipal-level heads and universities is seen and reasonable. We are disappointed with the statement before the media and Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Murati, we have applied for two months now to the prime minister to have a movement of the cofficient value of at least 30%, arguing with the ongoing price hikes and making an effort for education workers, but also other sectors to have a support to cope more easily with the prices you are raising. It was surprising yesterday's statement because Kurti and Murati are continuing with the practice of not communicating at all with unions but making decisions just like you did. ” Yasharaj said.
On the other hand, he added that this could also be read as a pre-monitored statement:
“We have a promise that in January there will be movement within the coeffients that we doubt it is not possible because the law on wages has produced Parliament and only it has the right to intervene in the laws, while the Murati has been able to make it easier to lift up the cofficient but not in January, because January has several months and it is not known what will happen, by some it can be read as a statement next to the campaign, but the workers and education and not only are very satisfied because if we return it to the euro somewhere, that's too low, and that's the fear is going to be reflected in the 486.
“We have distributed a form into all educational institutions and are waiting for what membership is telling us. Because they know that we're engaged in a lot but we've come up with a problem with the wrong approach of the Government, and it's especially about establishing a cofficiency but also about collective contracts, where Mrs. Nagavci has no right to sit down with us and talk about other issues or the contract that is extremely important to the education sector, but the contract is also important for other contracts”
Jasharaj has recently mentioned that teachers in Albania have a salary of over 900 euros, while the 55-euro movement causes irritability among workers in Kosovo.
