Nargis Mohammad, Iranian human rights activist who is imprisoned, has been transported to a hospital in Tehran for more than two months, her husband said on October 27th.

After almost nine months of medical treatment was denied, Nargis Mohammadi has finally been hospitized thanks to the support of civil sector activists and human rights of the Coalition Free Nargis, and pressure from the international community and the media”, Taghi Rahman wrote in X.
Rahman, who lives in Paris, added that the delay in sending to the hospital, “and past years to prison and in isolation, has caused major damage to Narguers' health”.
Narges Mohammad, 52, has been imprisoned repeatedly in the last 20 years.
She is currently serving a 12-year prison sentence in the Evin prison in Tehran after being sentenced to “spread propaganda”. / REL
