Kosovo's Hydromethorological Institute reports that, according to predictions, from the weekend, especially October 04th and October 05th 2024, the region and not only will be included by heavy rainfall, possible floods in some countries are expected.
Through a Facebook post, IHMK points out that the western part of Kosovo, particularly mountainous areas (Albanian Alps), is designed to have more 100-150mm in 5 days, while the section of the 50m-70m Dukagjini Raraf, which in view of the current hydrometeorological situation characterized by prolonged dryers, where rivers are currently below their average values, are not forecast to have flood floods.
