Florida Governor Ron DeSantis reported that Milton had caused at least 19 tornadoes that caused damage in many circles, destroying some 125 homes, most of them mobile homes.
“at this point, it's too dangerous to evacuate safely, so you have to take refuge in the country”, DeSantis said after announcing the land crash.
