Haziri for the Brussels meeting: To happen, political will is lacking

“Takim has named it the deputy chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo Lutfi Haziri, the summit of chief negotiators during Thursday in Brussels, within the process of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.

Haziri said that despite the 3 conditions of Kurti and the 7 conditions of Vucic, the process of dialogue is continuing to be maintained and no obligations being implemented today.

As long as it happens, in the same principle we agreed not to agree. Serbia is conditioned on opening chapter 35, while Kosovo is being held in financial sanctions”, Haziri told Express.

This process according to Haziri is resulting without any agreement, the cause of the lack of political will, to push the issues forward.

“From a strategic position of Kosovo to close the comprehensive agreement as capital interest to realise the closure of Kosovo's citizenship, to a management of situations, and from a normalisation process has translated into the process of crisis management”, he added.

The Kosovo government has come in with distrust in this process, Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has said.

This place has been converted into an agenda that manages crisis situations and nothing more. This process has now produced crisis situations more than it has produced trust and political will to implement the obligations of parties reached by the Kurti-Vucic accords, on February 27th 2023 and March 17th 2023.
