“Rating” of salaries in the public sector worth 55m unless it meets the needs of civil servants is contrary to Law No.08/ L-196 For Salaries in Public Sector, Article 42, Pragraph 1. With the law's entry into force, any changes in structure, components or levels of wage cofficients are prohibited.
And this Kurti Government decision is contrary to AKT THE Constitutional Court of the Law of Salaries dated 24,01,2024, No. ref. AG 2316/24.
The change of cofficients can only be made by changing the Law, rather than by the Government's decision, while the value of the cofficient is approved with the Kosovo Budget Law.
The government Kurti failed to implement the Constitutional Court Act and now changed the coeffents to the decision by violating the Law.
Why did the government fail to implement the Constitutional Court's decision and improve differences in wage coeffiencies by August 3rd, 2024?
Thousands of requests by public officials for the cofficients have been rejected by the Kurti Government with the argument that the coeffensives cannot be changed without a change in the Law.
The fraud continues with fraud, violation of the law and failure to comply with the Constitutional Court Act.
