Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj, under visits to Kosovo municipalities, has visited the Obilic Community today.
Haradinaj has visited the “isolation company” in Milosevo, owned by Halit Rama.
“In the energy city of Kosovo, today we have unveiled parts of our programme, vision of the good days ahead of citizens of Obilic and the whole country. I started my visit to the company “Halit Rama proudly introduced the recycling factory and current projects. This company is an excellent example of innovation that is transforming our industry. Then, in the Industrial Zone of Lazarus, we had a meeting with Mr. Gezim Zrella, owner of the company “Termopan”. Its ambitions to expand the production of doors and windows for export are a testimony to the extraordinary potential of local businesses”, Haradinaj has said.
Haradinaj has added that the AAK is determined to create a favourable environment for businesses, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo is determined to create a favourable environment for businesses, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises. We will implement a progressive tax system that will ease the burden for those who earn less, ensuring that those who earn more contribute more. This will promote social justice and spur economic growth. We will also reduce or eliminate certain taxes, such as excises in oil for agricultural and industrial machinery, to stimulate domestic production”, Haradinaj has indicated.
He has pledged increased financial subsidies for farmers and will provide additional funding forms, including soft loans.
Then we continued our visit to the farm in Siboc, where owner Africa Mejuani, also part of the KLA, introduced us to his farm activities. Agriculture is a key sector for the country's economy and we are determined to revolutionise it. We will significantly increase financial subsidies for farmers and provide additional funding forms, including soft loans. Our investments will focus on modernising agricultural infrastructure, including building accumulated lakes to provide enough water for agriculture and households. We will work to eliminate non-tariff barriers to our food products in the region and subsidise the cost of bank guarantees for the agriculture and food processing sector. Our innovation program “Exploro Farmer” will offer visitors unique opportunities to experience life on the farm, promoting agro-turism and opening new revenue routes for our farmers”, it has ended.
