“We would be happy to have Albania in the EU”, Hungarian Foreign Minister says

At the top of the agenda at the Second Intergovernmental Conference between Albania and the European Union, it is accelerating the integration of the Western Balkans into the EU.

The news has been made known by Hungarian Foreign and Trade Minister Péter Szijártó, a country which holds the rotating EU presidency and will lead the Second Intergovernmental Conference between Albania and the European Union.

He said that “would be really happy to have Western Balkan countries in the EU, especially Albania”.

“What we have put at the top of the agenda is the acceleration of Western Balkan integration into the EU. In fact, we live in the same region and we know what a change of development is in peace and of course we can help with the development of the Western Balkans with peaceful developments in their situation.

So we would be really happy to have Western Balkan countries in the EU, especially Albania. This is and thanks to the prime minister and his cabinet because they have done an extraordinary job, thank you”, Péter Szijártó, writes TopChannel.
