Former head of the Kosovo Economic Ode (OEK), Safet Gerjaliu has commented on the meeting of Kosovo and Serbia's officials, Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petkovic, saying that in this situation Serbia is contributing.
Gerjaliu has claimed that every day and more Kosovo is losing, both in economic, political terms and in relations with the European Union.
The truth must be understood that this dialogue has become a marathon dialogue so the expected results, in this direction Kosovo is losing more and more in economic, political, but also in the European perspective through an improved image of”, Gerjaliu said.
He has said that Kosovo will cost time, even adding that this situation Serbia will be factored.
“The more this dialogue is produced will be factored into Serbia and will be empowered in view of the geopolitical and geostrategic flows that are taking place in this direction, the fact that it has been warned there will be no solution until the February solutions in Kosovo are completed. It is indeed a time dimension a cost that will cost Kosovo on the other side does not end everything with solutions, there will be negotiations for platform coalitions as well as a partnership, and it is very typical to think that the spring of 2025 will be more different for Kosovo, whether in political, economic, integration”, it added to EO.
The former OEK chairman says the highest price he will pay will be for Kosovo, as according to him, our country has been damaged economically and politically.
The largest “Brenga is the politicisation of each port of Kosovo society, and the highest cost will be paid economically and the most expensive price will be paid to the citizen and the local business community. It is impossible to expect foreign investments in this period of time, in particular in the absence of political reality, European measures or sanctions, added to the fact that Kosovo's economic and political diplomacy really will be a heavy burden for which the government will come in the future”, he concluded.
Otherwise, during yesterday's day, Republic of Kosovo official Besnik Bislimi and Serbia's Petar Petkovovic have held a trilateral meeting of dialogue under the mediation of European Union envoy Miroslav Lajcak, but at this meeting were not compatible between the parties.
