The chief of the Democratic League of Kosovo Parliamentary Group, Arben Gashi, has demanded the resignation of Ksoova Prime Minister Albin Kurti, that the country go as soon as possible to new elections, as there are no more parliamentary majority in the Kosovo Assembly.
“Vetevendosje is participating in commissions. The Vetevendosje is participating in sessions. Vetevendosje failing sessions. Vetevendosje is failing parliamentary investigative commissions and failing the Parliament's work. This is the result of Vetevendosje's lack of control. They don't want to have cooperation. This lack of will of co-operation is evident in this legislature”, he told Kosovas.
“No compromise, co-operation and co-ordination between power and opposition has been reached in the history of parliamentarians in Kosovo. We are in a situation where there is no parliamentary majority. There is a majority of government, and LVV is unable to govern the country. This normal situation requires that the prime minister resign and pave the way for elections as soon as possible”, Gashi points out.
