The European Centre for Press and Media Freedom reacts: Begin investigations into Wehbi Kateazi case

The European Centre for Press Freedom and Media EPCPMF has reacted after a tracking device was found in Paparac's car and owner, Vehbi Kajazi.

In response, they are said to be alarmed and call on justice and security institutions to launch investigations.

We are alarmed that a tracking device was found in Kosovo journalist Vehbi Kajtazi's car, just days after he and other journalists raised serious concerns about following members of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency.

We call on Kosovo police and prosecutors to conduct an effective, independent and professional investigation to ensure that those responsible for spying on journalists are identified and brought to justice.
