The US Embassy in Tirana has published a message addressed to American citizens hours before the opposition protest.

The American Embassy instructs its citizens to monitor local media and follow the guidelines of local law enforcement authorities for the latest information.

A demonstration is scheduled to be held on Monday, October 7th. Protesters plan to gather at the prime minister at 6:00. The increased presence of the police, the closure of roads, and the interruption of the circulation is expected. Albanian State Police have cautioned that protesters can block intersections in different parts of the city of Tirana”.
