Crisis in KSF, Presidency: Osmani has long proposed a programme, budgetary support required by government

President Bekim Kupina's media adviser, Bekim Kupina, has said that the invitation to meet with General Jashari and Minister Macedonia comes as a result of the president's concern over the situation created at KSF in terms of food.
Kupina also that the president of the Republic of Kosovo has long proposed a several-point plan for KSF, but that budgetary support is required for the same plan by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
Otherwise, President Osmani has long made the proposal for the state programme for multidimensional support of KSF that directly affects the growth of its socio-economic well-being, even their motive. However, this programme needs to have budgetary support in the law on the budget of the Republic of Kosovo, which is proposed by the Government and adopted in Parliament”, Kupina has said of Gazeta Express.
In President Osmani's plan, Cupina has indicated that it includes” Paying additionals in salaries for risk and training and not only for 1 months, insurance and overtime, payment for KSF members during education and training abroad (during the entire period of schooling or training, and not just for 1 month), health insurance, functioning of a military hospital with secondary and medical tercirial services, improving food quality with higher health and sanitation standards, ensuring affordable residences for their military and families, and creating a loan fund for the military<>
The Cup has said that the “realisation of this support programme also affects the empowering of the KSF's operation at the time of transition and development with the aim of implementing legal duties and its constitutional mission to protect territorial integrity and state sovereignty.
