Factors contributing to this phenomenon include unemployment, lack of investments in legal infrastructure, inadequate working conditions and low quality of professional schooling.
So says the chairman of the Kosovo Medical Oda, Plerat Sejdiu in an interview for Kosova Preress, until he points out that he sees the reasons for the departure of doctors from Kosovo in 2023 and this year.
Sejdiu points out that within two or three years, the lack of doctors at the secondary and the teczerial level will be evident. In addition to abandoning the workplace, it shows that about 100 doctors will be retired this year.
Sejdiu says the lack of drug and material supply, operating halls, as well as the total lack of a health system are some of the challenges doctors in Kosovo face.
During 2023, about 170 doctors have issued their job in Kosovo to get out of the country.
