The Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo has raised concerns about the Government's current announcement of salary increases for public servants. BSPK Chairman At and Hykoli described growth as lack of transparency and clarity in the approach of government.

“Today, following the Kosovo prime minister's statement concerning the increase in wages for several categories of employees, I feel obliged to express my concern as chairman of the Union of Independent Trade Unions of Kosovo. While wage increases are an important step toward improving workers' working and living conditions, it is essential that this process be transparent and based on law. ” He said.
“as union representative, I demand that any wage increase be based on clear and fair criteria, reflecting economic reality and workers' needs.
