Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti says Albania's Prime Minister Edi Rama's idea of “transforming the World Order Centre Bektas into a sovereign state within the Albanian capital” requires more than public debate.
Kurti in late September was in New York, U.S.A., for the high-level week of the United Nations General Assembly.
From the UN, Rama presented the idea for Bektash State, which Kurti was asked in an interview at the Albanian-American Cultural Centre Struga in the US, published on Saturday.
“I don't now know how this is initiated and how the process will go further, what decisions should be made for this initiative and maybe there will be a public debate in Albania and Albanians in general. I'm believing there's nothing we don't argue about and that's an important matter”, the Kosovo prime minister said.
The Bektas have undoubtedly contributed greatly to the Albanian nationship, to Albania's independence, to our national rebirth, and now this gratitude of what form it should take, no doubt it requires not only public debate, but also requires a contribution of historians, albanologists, and so on”, Kurti said.
With the idea of “transforming the World Order Centre Bektash into a sovereign state within the Albanian capital”, Albania's prime minister had closed his word in “The upcoming” summit held at the United Nations General Assembly.
Similarly, his idea revealed it to the American newspaper New York Times.
This, the Bektas World Headquarters immediately named <x0 minus extraordinary”, while it sparked a debate in Albania.
